How to play Hexa Sort
Choose one of three stacks and place it in an empty cell on the 19-cell hexagonal board. Adjacent stacks with the same top colour automatically combine their top groups into the largest group. Ten or more matching top chips melt together, exposing lower colours and triggering cascades.
Computer, mobile and keyboard controls
Tap a supply stack, then an empty hexagon, or drag and release. Keys 1–3 select a stack; arrows move the highlighted destination; Enter places it. Hint highlights a suggested stack and cell. Fullscreen enlarges the game on mobile.
Mouse clicks and touchscreen taps use the same rules. Open the accessible controls for HTML move buttons. Escape pauses the focused board; Z undoes a move before the run ends. Changing tabs pauses play.
Tips and strategy
Keep empty cells and build groups near matching tops. Mixed stacks hide other colours underneath. Consecutive clearing placements build the combo: two clears unlock ×2 coins and five unlock ×3. A placement with no clear resets the current combo; your best earned coin multiplier remains for this run.
Score and Puzzle Coins
100 levels increase the target from 60 to 300 melted chips and colours from three to six. Each placed chip gives 5 points, each transfer 10, and each melted chip 10 × current combo factor. Winning adds 500 + 20 × level. After 10 active seconds, the normal 5–50 coin reward is multiplied by the best earned ×1/×2/×3, up to 150, once on saving. Coins join the Puzzles wallet used by all eight games; daily/time rewards keep their normal amounts.
A finished run needs at least 10 active seconds to earn final coins. The base reward is floor(score / 30) + 2 per full 30 active seconds, limited to 5–50 coins. Hexa Sort multiplies it by the best earned ×1, ×2 or ×3, up to 150 coins. Short runs still save their score. Time paused, hidden or idle for more than a minute is not counted.
Puzzle Coins belong only to this portal. Puzzle coins unlock permanent visual themes; hints and undo are free. Themes do not change the rules.
Saving and your profile
Won and lost runs save automatically. Use End & save to stop early. Your unfinished board resumes when you return. Guest coins and records stay in this browser. Your wallet and scores stay separate from Arcade. The leaderboard shows your own results, not other visitors.
