How to play Tap Away
Tap Away is an original directional block-removal puzzle. A piece can leave only when every cell ahead of it is free in its arrow direction. Pieces may span one, two or three cells. Every block removed reveals its part of the hidden picture immediately. Clear the board to win. There are 100 reproducible levels with verified removal routes.
Computer, mobile and keyboard controls
Tap a block to slide it out. A blocked tap does not cost points or lives. Use the hint to highlight a removable piece. Keyboard users can open the move buttons below.
Mouse clicks and touchscreen taps use the same rules. Open the accessible controls for HTML move buttons. Escape pauses the focused board; Z undoes a move before the run ends. Changing tabs pauses play.
Tips and strategy
Start with the outward-pointing blocks. Every removal opens new lanes. Follow long pieces across their entire width: an arrow is not enough if another block obstructs part of the path.
Score and Puzzle Coins
100 points per removed piece, plus 500 + 20 × level on completion. Undo is free and labels the run as helped. This game uses original code and artwork; it is not the official Unpuzzle app.
A finished run needs at least 10 active seconds to earn final coins. The reward is floor(score / 30) + 2 per full 30 active seconds, limited to 5–50 coins. Short runs still save their score. Time paused, hidden or idle for more than a minute is not counted.
Puzzle Coins belong only to this portal. Puzzle coins unlock permanent visual themes; hints and undo are free. Themes do not change the rules.
Saving and your profile
Won and lost runs save automatically. Use End & save to stop early. Your unfinished board resumes when you return. Guest coins and records stay in this browser. Your wallet and scores stay separate from Arcade. The leaderboard shows your own results, not other visitors.
